Educators
Our certified and experienced team is composed of our nationally award-winning director and a long-term team of early childhood educators. They are certified by the Childcare Facilities board of Prince Edward Island (PEI).
Child-First Curriculum
At Little Wonders Early Learning Center, we follow the Early Learning Framework, established by the PEI Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
The learning module has been proven to provide holistic education and development. The focus is on children's health and well-being, exploration and discovery, expression and communication, and social and personal responsibility.
Our Philosophy
The philosophy of Little Wonders Early Learning Center is that children are active, experiential learners. We strive to create an environment where children can explore and discover independently, fostered by the guidance of trained early childhood educators.
Our Mission
Our mission is to have children feel like they are in a home, away from their home. We have designed our center to reflect that comfort with items such as cozy chairs and sofas, where they can curl up to share a story or a giggle.
Our Program
We have planned our programs and activities to promote the growth of the child - physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. We believe that each child is a unique individual with the right to be loved and respected in a safe, secure, and stimulating environment.
Developing Skills
Our program encourages respect for self and others, independence, problem-solving, creativity, positive self-esteem, and co-operation. Frequent staff meetings are held to ensure that our program meets these goals. All in all, we strive for the holistic development of your children.
